Meet the Marcelino family!
A welcoming, close-knit, involved, generous, creative, energetic family who are excellent hosts, among other things. They’re who’s in charge. The family’s passion for restoration and hosting led to them setting out to create a unique accommodation in 2017.
Finding an old local bus for sale was the last piece of the puzzle to make the dream come true. Restoring it themselves, they parked it on the family farm, marking the beginning of this beautiful project. 2019 was the year of recognition and growth.
Being ranked among the best accommodation options and made an Airbnb Plus listing served as proof that they were on the right track. Thanks to the family’s daring nature, despite the scepticism of some and spurred on by the belief of others, they have made Arrabal, in the municipality of Leiria, an attractive, internationally renowned tourist site.
